Body of Work

Julio Bocca retired last week from American Ballet Theatre. This drawing features every ballet he danced during his career at ABT. There was a big party on the grand tier at the Met after his performance. Somewhere in Argentina I am walking across the background of a television news story, looking for another glass of wine. If anyone notices, they will think that this is what I always do.

I want one, too. Not yet, because I am far from retiring and I'm not a master yet or a dancer. But the metaphor for my work is dancing...and as you know, I love your work. This one especially appeals to me. Mama G

OK--I'll put you down for one in the year 2223. However, you're going to have to provide me with the list of metaphoric ballets.
