All my drawings are drawn directly in ink; they are live reactions to whatever I'm listening to or going through or watching. Lately, I watch a lot of music. I am currently the official artist for Joe's Pub in New York--all Pub drawings are drawn during the artist's set. I've also been performing with Balthrop, Alabama--doing live drawings that are projected while they play songs about love and dead people. I first read about your work on the happy days blog from the nytimes- I read both your entries on when you started drawing with the ballet corps, and also your collection of sketches of new york during the summer.
I really liked your sketches, so I clicked through to this site. I enjoy your work/what you see in your drawings very much, and I look forward to your new postings!
(if this isn't redundant- I liked this set of drawings a lot :)).
